Gemcare Products searched for non-toxic, sustainable, natural cleaning ingredients in the late 80′s because we were strongly convinced that toxic ingredients like ammonia and alcohol were not acceptable for cleaning any jewelry. Health issues in the family increased our efforts to search and research for the very best non-toxic and safe natural cleaning ingredients. The very first time we verified our products on a variety of fine and fashion jewelry was at the Del Mar Fair in California. The results were amazing!

Both first ever product formulations scored such a bingo! We cleaned all types of very expensive and inexpensive jewelry with samples of our new solution and polish products instead of with the different named cleaners that we had been selling for years. Both new formulations did the better job and they cleaned jewelry with natural cleaning agents – over 20 years ago! Obviously, our non-toxic products never did contain petroleum, ammonia or alcohol.

We are waiting for both products to be certified as all-natural and kosher.
